Smart Notifications - Never Miss a Corporate Action on Stocks You Own

The only alerts that matter are the ones about your money.

We at Arihant Plus believe the smartest notification is the one that actually means something to you. A dividend announcement is important news but only if you hold that stock. A bonus issue is worth knowing about but only if it is your portfolio that gets affected. Until now, most apps either blasted every corporate action to every user, or expected you to track these events yourself. Version 1.0.56 changes that.

The problem investors face today

Corporate actions dividends, bonuses, splits, rights issues, results, OFS happen across hundreds of stocks every week. Staying on top of them manually is nearly impossible. You could miss an ex-dividend date and lose the payout you were entitled to. You could miss a rights issue window and forfeit a discounted allocation. You could miss a results announcement on a stock you hold and be caught off guard by a price move the next morning.

The information existed. It was just not finding you at the right time, for the right stocks.

Introducing Smart Notifications for Corporate Actions

Smart Notifications on Arihant Plus now monitors every corporate action across the market and sends you an alert only when it touches a stock in your holdings. No noise. No broadcasts meant for everyone. Every notification you receive is directly relevant to your portfolio.

Here is what you will be notified about, automatically, for every stock you hold:

What triggers a notification

  • Bonus issue (B): Your company has declared additional shares for existing shareholders you will be notified before the record date so you can plan accordingly.

  • Stock split (S): The stock's face value is being divided, increasing the number of shares you hold notified before it takes effect.

  • Rights issue (R): The company is offering you additional shares at a special price, typically below market rate. Your eligibility is based on holdings before the record date the window to apply, renounce, or trade is short, and you will not miss it.

  • Ex Dividend (eD): The stock is approaching its ex-dividend date the cutoff to be eligible for the upcoming dividend payout.

  • Cum Dividend (cD): The dividend is about to be paid your notification confirms it is coming to your account.

  • Quarterly and Annual Results (Re): The company has announced financial results. Significant price movement often follows you will know the moment it is out.

  • OFS (Offer for Sale): Existing shareholders, often promoters or early investors, are selling a portion of their stake to the public at a discounted price relevant if you are tracking your stock's ownership structure.

  • 52-Week High (52W H) and Low (52W L): When a stock you hold touches its highest or lowest price in a year, you will know.

Why this feels different

Most notification systems are broadcasting tools the same alert sent to every user at once. Smart Notifications is a filtering tool. It takes the full universe of corporate events happening in the market and narrows it down to only the ones that affect your holdings. The result is a notification feed that feels personal because it is built around what is actually in your portfolio, not what is happening across 5,000 stocks.

Where we go from here

Smart Notifications will expand to cover watchlist stocks, custom alert thresholds, and priority levels so you stay in control of how informed you are, while the system quietly handles what reaches you.
